My Monthly Favourites

It's the first week of a new month and I'm here to share some of my favourites from the last month. This will be a new monthly segment of mine where I'll talk about products I've loved with a specific angle for each month. This month is about all things me. Items that I love using, eating, and wearing.

As someone who has started wearing dresses and skirts a lot more recently, I wanted something for underneath that would shape and lift, and the Maidenform High Waist Body Shaper Tights are perfect for this. This hosiery shapes your tummy and waist, sculpting your mid torso. With a flat seamed panty, the graphic strips prevent visible panty lines, and with medium matte opaque leg coverage.

Like all tights which can get a little too warm, these handy ones have X-Temp Constant Comfort technology which is designed to adapt to your body temperature for all day comfort. I love wearing these under my clothing now as they really do sculpt my body to give the shape that I love.

This is something I've been discussing for a while now. A new tattoo. I wanted to make sure I got exactly what I wanted, with someone who I could trust, so it's taken a long time to research and get this done. I went with Urban Ink Leeds and chose Will to do my tattoo for me.

I wanted a sugar skull but with a difference. I didn't want it to look like just another skull and wanted to incorporate a gem of some form. I discussed this with Will and then he drew me up my very own, unique design, which was perfect. As you can see, at the moment it is currently in its healing phase having only been done 3 days ago. I'll be going back in a couple of weeks for a colour touch up, and to add in a bit of lightness to really make those eyes pop.

I've been loving shoes recently and really want to start wearing heels more as it's something I've never really done. I'd seen that New Look had a sale on, and a pair of shoes I had previously tried on in store were now down in price, to only £10. I jumped at the chance to buy these Black Suedette 2 Part Platform Block Heels and I'm so glad I did.

These high-impact platform heels have a soft suedette finish and a metal trim. They have a block heel and platform at the front, so even though they look super high, with a heel at 4.5" / 11.5cm, they don't feel it. And the padding underfoot makes them super comfy to wear too.

I adore my SEKSY fragrance, so this month have also got SEKSY Entice too. I love this range as they come presented in a lavishly designed 12-sided bottle embellished with a Swarovski crystal and a detachable Swarovski charm that can be added to your favourite jewellery.

This fragrance is sweet, fruity and with top notes of apricot and mandarin, given a fruity boost with blackcurrant. It is floral with rose, orange blossom, caramel and jasmine notes, finishing with scents of sandalwood, vanilla and amber. Totally Summer in a bottle is this fragrance.

Hair care is really important to me, so I try to use products that will nourish, brighten and life my hair. OSMO Blinding Shine Serum really brings that shine to my hair, providing beautiful shine and frizz free results, with such a lightweight formula.

Applied in 2 ways. This serum can either be distributed evenly through partially dried hair, and then blowdried for a smooth, sleek look. Or you can skim over the ends of dry hair for a glossy finish. The latter is my preference as it just knocks all the frizz straight out, whilst making my hair shiny and glossy, and so beautiful.

And then it comes to my favourite snack. My downfall, when it comes to losing weight and fitness, is snacking. And so I try to pick ones that are low in calorie but packed with flavour. Enter Ten Acre Popcorn and their range of Gluten Free, Dairy Free and MSG Free, Vegan, Vegetarian and Kosher certified, popcorn.

Coming in 2 flavours, Aunty Winifred's Sweet & Salty popcorn is the perfect blend of sweet and salty. Tantalisingly tasty for those who like the best of both worlds in a packet of popcorn. But my personal favourite is Lucia Popperleys Cappuccino Popcorn as who said you can't mix your favourite things together.

  2. I really love that dress. Pinafore-style dresses are my favourites, but they are hard to find!
