The Bits & Bobs Your Home Needs

Collaboration
The bits and bobs are what make your home. You can put furniture and a TV in your living room, but it wouldn’t be very homely without all of the little accessories that you can put in it. The same goes with your bedroom. Just putting in a bed and a wardrobe is going to make the room feel very bare, you have to fill it out with all the little bits and bobs that truly make it a home for you. But not everyone reading this will have filled out their home the way that they want it to. Sometimes we think about something that we’d love to have in the home, and then that’s all it stays, a thought in our minds. Instead, every time that you think of something that you’d love to put into your home, such as a new lamp for example, write it down on a piece of paper. Soon, you will have a list of lots of random little items that would look great in your home. So, if you keep on reading, we’re going to start that list for you, and show you some of the bits and bobs that we think your home needs. Keep on reading to find out more.

Bits For The Living Room
We know that the living room and the bedroom are two of the places that you spend the most time. But the living room is that one room in your home that just feels so homely. You can get in, pop your feet up on the sofa, and wind down from the day that you’ve had at work. It’s so much better than getting in and having to go and sit on your bed like you would have done when you were younger. There are so many cute bits and bobs that you can put in your living room to make it more homely. The first is little ornaments that represent things that you like. Animals, people, or just random ornaments that add a little bit of character to the room. If you have a fireplace, then you have the perfect location for them to sit. We also like it when a room is centred with a rug. Even if you have super soft and nice carpet, a rug is just so nice and comforting, and it adds more shape to the room.

Bits For The Dining Room
The dining room is probably the room that people spend the least time in. It’s a room that you’ll most likely only set up when you know you’re having people around you. But even then, you might not have all of the bits and bobs to make it a room to truly dine in. For example, you could get top restaurant quality tablecloths from Richard Haworth, and napkins and place mats.. A tablecloth is essential in our eyes, especially if you know you’re going to have children dining at the table. If you don’t have one already, you could also get a sideboard for the dining room. It gives you a place to put all of the things that you would lay the table with, and it gives you somewhere to store alcohol and things like that. Plus, it stops the room from looking bare with only having a table in it!

Bits For The Bathroom
The bathroom is often a place of solitude for many people. The bathroom allows people to truly get away from the madness of the home, even if it be for just a ten minute shower. There are so many cute bits and bobs that you can get for the bathroom. Often, the one thing that many of you will need replacing, is toothbrush holders, soap dispensers, and anything like that that can get a little bit grotty in your bathroom. They’re easy to replace, and there’s some super cute replacements that you could go for!

Bits For The Bedroom
The bedroom is the one room that we can’t wait to get back to at the end of the day, and we think it can be made tranquil by all of the bits and bobs that you could put in. Simple things like luxurious smelling candles in beautiful candle holders, or calming art on the wall, can make all the difference in your bedroom. A random addition if you don’t already have them, is blackout blinds or curtains. Some of you reading this will know you never could have lived without them, but others will never have experienced the comforting sleep in a truly dark room.
